I’ve made my list and I’ve checked it twice. And….I’m going to make homemade cocoa mix for my co-workers. I found this great recipe for minty-cocoa mix, I’m going to layer it similar to this photo. I will be sure to post instrcutions/pictures!! YEY for the holidays. I think that this is a great gift, it’s personal, adorable and delicious. What more do you want out of a gift? What treats to do you make around the holidays?

it’s a strange moment when you realize how vulnerable you really are when you’re in love. how that one person how damage you with four little words, how their heartbeats determine your happiness—so much of you is invested in them. when i first realized it i noticed that i backed off completely. the idea of not having control over your own heart is an unsettling thought but to truly love someone you have to let go. let go of the control of your heart, let go of your sanity a little and trust that they will not damage you. in my mind, this is easier said than done.
